Wiki locations
What is a 'wiki location'?
A wiki location is a directory where all the files for your wiki are stored.
You can have more than one wiki location - letting you separate out wikis for different topics.
For example:
- C:\Wikis\Personal - a wiki storing personal information
- C:\Wikis\ProjectX - a wiki storing info about a project
- C:\Wikis\Actions - a wiki storing your next actions list
Each wiki location has it's own homepage, it's own template, etc. They are completely separate to each other.
You don't have to have more than one location. It is fine to have all of your notes in a single wiki location.
This is provided as one approach to organising your notes if you think it will be useful.
