bLADE Wiki: Time

Two features are provided if you are interested in the time in your notes...

• Page timestamps
• Insert current date / time 

Page timestamps

Include the date and time that the current page was created and/or last modified in the page footer. 

I personally enable this on the Desktop version as I'm mildly interested, but leave it disabled on the Mobile version to make the page generation a teeny tiny bit faster on a slow device!

This can be enabled in Preferences.

Desktop version

Open the Preferences dialog using Tools -> Preferences

Check the boxes for Page Created and / or Page last modified

Mobile version

Open the Preferences form with Menu -> Tools -> Preferences

Check the boxes for Page created and / or Page modified 

Insert current date and time

If you regularly need to mention the current date and time in your notes, then there are a few shortcuts for you.

If you do these, the current date and time is inserted into the wiki page at the current cursor location. 

Desktop version

While in Edit mode...

Use Insert -> Insert Timestamp  or press F5

Mobile version

While in Edit mode...

Use Menu -> Edit -> Insert timestamp
